NEADS (National Education for Assistance Dog Services) is a non-profit organization in Princeton, Massachusetts that raises and trains service dogs to assist people that are deaf or disabled. Many of their clients are those with hearing loss, physical disabilities, autism, anxiety, or people who have served their country. Dogs can be trained to work with one particular person, or to be of assistance in a classroom or as part of a ministry. At Leader Basement Systems, we applaud this wonderful work that is being done in our community!
We are proud to be hosting a Donation Drive for items that are currently on their wish list. NEADS is an organization that relies solely on donations and support from local businesses and communities, and they have a long wishlist of supplies that they need from generous people who can spare a few minutes and a few dollars. And not everything they need is dog-related! They need things for the office, for kennels and veterinary care, and even for the disabled clients they work with! Everything from Tide laundry detergent and shipping tape to Kuranda dog beds and Kong toys! Check out the link to their website to see what they need, or visit www.neads.org and click the Get Involved tab.
